Jesus Christ calls us to love… love of God and love of neighbor. If we are truly grateful to God for the gift of our lives, of all that we have, of his mercy and unconditional love, then we will more freely and generously share what is gift from God as gift for others. This is the basis for stewardship and justice.
The Social Concerns Commission seeks to awaken our community to a faith that is actively lived according to the teaching and formation that Jesus provided to his first disciples. This Commission provides some practical ways in which parishioners can put their faith into action, making choices that affirm the dignity of the poor, the lonely, the destitute, the disabled, immigrants, the unborn, the weak and infirmed.
